177x65 honyaki bunka

This is a thick convex ground blade, extremely thick in the back but thinner in the front. It's a old waterquenched blade, very hard, a good bit beyond 65 hrc Have some hamon by spine and some spots down on the blade looking almost like hamon smoke. Since I played around a bit with the grind on this one, I also torch-colored the blade, and carved the handle in birch.
