This line of knives is with rustic burnt oak western/fulltang handles. Making honyaki knives can get expensive time wise, so for these I have tried to make some good choices, focusing at what I care extra about; having a great steel heat treatment and grinds. In order to get them balanced well alot of tang material needs to be removed, and because of this, and that I wanted to get these straightforward to make as westerns, this is the first time I try getting blanks profiled by waterjetting. Otherwise I always do everything myself by hand.
